Western Kenosha County (west of I-94) has been selected as a 2009 10 & under Midwest Youth Team Tennis market by the USTA/Midwest Section using the Quickstart tennis format. They are one of five areas in Wisconsin selected for this year. Other markets for 2009 are Racine, Sheboygan, Manitowoc, and Sun Prairie. In 2008, there were a total of 41 markets across the Midwest including Oshkosh, Watertown, Lodi, Waukesha, and the Brookfield/Elm Grove area with a total of 3000 participants. Participants in this program will be divided on teams and receive an age appropriate racket, foam or pressure less ball, team uniform, an enrollment card to Ace's Kids Club, a water bottle, wrist bands, an activity book, temporary tattoos, stickers, an achievement card, and a birthday card.
